About Michael J. O'Loughlin

Michael J. O’Loughlin is the owner and founder of the O’Loughlin Law Firm, LLC. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law. While there he was Associate Editor of The Gavel and was recipient of the Nelson Award, given to the top student in the Wills and trust drafting class. His out-state Missouri law practice focuses entirely on Estate Planning and Elder Law. This service includes drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate work, and organizing clients’ assets in order to qualify for Medicaid.

Michael prides himself on staying abreast of the latest law changes in estate planning and elder law. Doing this, he is able to provide his clients with a strong estate plan that will fulfill their wishes while they are living, and care well for their families after their passing. Michael is a frequent lecturer on this subject and is an active member of several organizations and committees including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the Elder Law Committee of the Missouri Bar, and the Randolph County Bar Association. In 2001 he was elected President of the Randolph County Bar Association.

Michael and his wife Teresa live in Moberly, Missouri, with their five children, Krista, Jimmy, Kaylee, Breanna, and Johnny.
